Families First Parenting Programs is an award-winning nonprofit organization that strengthens families of all backgrounds and life circumstances by providing parenting education and support through seminars and workshops. With a committed board, an excellent staff and a talented executive director, the organization was ready to undertake the creation and implementation of an annual signature event to raise funds, friends and visibility in the community.

Liz Page Associates created Family Album Gala an annual signature event for Families First. The title evokes family experiences and treasured memories. The theme of thriving families was woven throughout the graphic design of the printed materials, sponsorship packets and event décor. Liz Page Associates has produced three Family Album Galas for Families First and each year has found a unique and affordable expression of the theme.

450 people attended the first Family Album Gala and the event raised just over $300,000 from corporate and individual sponsorships, ticket sales and a live auction. This total set a new special event fundraising record for Families First by tripling previous event revenues. Author and illustrator Marc Brown delivered the keynote address and inspired the audience to experience their own family through the eyes of a child.
